The left-handed starter was in second year at Triple-A Rochester when he was informed he was being added to the Olympic roster…In 2007, he went 11-5, 3.24 in 19 starts at Rochester…Was a third-round pick of the Twins in the 2005 First-Year Player Draft…Was a college teammate of Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain and Royals third baseman Alex Gordon at the University of Nebraska. Duensin was a starter for Team USA and pitched one-hit baseball in the first three innings of Team USA’s 6-3 win over Cuba that clinched an Olympic berth in November, 2007.
